Most of us would've had the privilege of growing up with grandparents who plunged us into the world of fairy tales and held us tight while we took our baby steps. How time flies! We've come of age and they've approached the evening of life. Let this be our beginning on the path of giving back.
What we do?
Yo Appooppa is an attempt to improve and extend the quality of living among the elderly, principally of those living alone. What could be more philosophical than rekindling and fostering inter-generational relationships?
How we do it?
We envisage building a vibrant community of young volunteers, who would be specifically trained on strategies to address the social and psychological needs of the elderly.
